Massive Yorkshire


Night in the kitchen went well last night..Tues 24th..all the guests had lots to eat and drink. They marvelled at my Yorkshire pud!!!

STARTERS
Field mushroom and roasted Chestnut Broth
A soup made from the freshest of ingrediants

Oven baked smoked salmon stuffed with boursin cheese
A stuffed parcel of smoked salmon, baked and dressed on a garlic and pest croute

Beignets of vegetables served with a roasted red pepper jus
Crisp fritters of red onion, courgette and parsnip served with leaves and a red pepper sauce

Bury Black pudding on haggis
The infamous pudding dressed on the equaly notorious speciality served with port wine gravy

Atantic prawn, russet apple and melon cocktail
 A combination of tastes dressed on leaves with a house made chilli flavoured Marie Rose sauce

MAIN COURSES

 Pave of salmon with a pommery mustard sauce
The salmon is presented on a spring onion mash finished with a creamy, mustard sauce

Pan fried sea bass with sauteed wild mushrooms
The delicate fish is simply served with assorted mushrooms in parsely butter

Roasted quinea fowl with root vegetables 
This delicately flavoured dish is served with thyme and Maderia jus

Gressingham duck breast with cranberry chutney
Tender slices of roasted duck meat on a sage and potato rosti sweetened red wine glaze and house made cranberry chutney

Locally reared, roasted fylde turkey with traditional garnishes
A grand helping of the seasonal bird with chipolata sausage, sage and onion stuffing and roast gravy


Fillet of beef stroganoff (£6.50 Supp.)
Tender strips of prime English beef fillet quickly sauteed, flamed wth brandy and served with a creamy button mushroom sauce and poached rice

Wild mushrooom and buffalo mozzerella tart
 Mushrooms sauteed in garlic pesto topped with Mozzerella and baked, served in a short pastry tart with a leaf salad.

Fillet steak (£6.50 Supp.)     Sirloin steak (£6.00 Supp.)
Prime local beef grilled to your requirements and accompanied with a grilled cap mushroom, tomato and parsely butter.
